Coming from a contractor that installs solar edge systems according to plans (as I would NEVER put these systems in voluntarily) this is the WORST modern company you can buy from. Their products are absolute junk, I personally am constantly replacing inverts, inverter heads, optimizers, etc, on the sites I maintain. Nothing ever lasts. Everything I do is done according to their specs yet there’s always an issue.
I have used this app for about 5 years and yesterday, somehow the new version of the app loaded onto my system - It is simply put terrible. can I get a copy of the old App ? This one is a huge step backwards. The problems start just trying to log-in. It is multiple steps now and No, I am not a robot. Once in the app, the local weather appears and covers the whole screen. This app is supposed to be about the inverter not a weather for a forecast. The are no set-up option in the app so it always defaults to information I don't want. I have to go through and change the settings each time to get the information I am looking for. This is a complete waste of time and just shows this company is only interested in selling. The app is simply junk now.
I changed my internet provider and needed help to reconnect my Solaredge (HD) inverter. Called Solaredge customer service, sent several messages, contacted their support online with no help whatsoever. Their reply was to get an outside technician. This should be a simple fix! Terrible customer service!

My inverter failed in November 2023 and when my installer called to get a replacement, he discovered that a factory recall had been issued for it, but he was never notified. I am going on my 3rd month now and all SolarEdge can tell me is they are not sure when they can ship it. This morning the agent told me they are doing their best to remedy the situation. If their best is not telling the customer when they can ship my factory recalled inverter after almost 3 months, it appears my $28,000 investment was spent on the wrong company.
UPDATE: the company solved the problem and sent a new product for replacement. the local manager apologized for the delay and taking too long to process the complaint. I take it as a positive that they admitted their mistake. hopefully the product will work as long as possible and any further complaints will be dealt with promptly. The wallcharger was 1 week Ok, Than Ko…since 3 month are we waiting for some Kind of response from solaredge… normal company would change IT immediately with excuses… they dont respond… the Wallcharger is payed and still not working…Reklamation number 4244716, if someone from the company read this… or manager.
